How do I count the number of days between two dates?
Enter your start date and end date in the "Count Between Dates" tab. The day counter instantly shows the total days, weekdays, weekends, and weeks between the two dates.
Does the day counter include the end date?
By default, the end date is not included (exclusive). Check the "Include end date in count" checkbox to include it. For example, from Jan 1 to Jan 3 = 2 days (exclusive) or 3 days (inclusive).
How does the calculator handle leap years?
Our day counter uses the date-fns library, which accurately handles leap years, daylight saving time, and all calendar edge cases for precise results.
What is the difference between calendar days and business days?
Calendar days count every day including weekends. Business days (weekdays) count only Monday through Friday. Our tool shows both so you can use whichever is relevant to your needs.
Can I add or subtract days from a date?
Yes! Switch to the "Add / Subtract Days" tab, enter your base date and the number of days, then choose whether to add or subtract. The resulting date is shown instantly with the day of the week.
